“Right now I do photography as a way to express myself without using words. It’s somewhat relaxing for me. I also provide photo shoots for people, but not as often as I wish. I do not really like editing my photographs but sometimes I do. I prefer using natural light. If I do use an editing program, I use Lightroom by Photoshop, iPhoto & just recently began using Aperture. Some goals I have are to of course eventually get published for my work & make money from doing something that I love.”

With her trusty Canon SLR by her side, a keen eye for intricate details and an adventurous spirit, Lori Singlar has been professionally photographing the world around her for over a decade. With contributions in industries that include, but are not limited to, fashion, entertainment, retail, travel and food, she implements various techniques to capture the perfect shot.
Past assignments include the David Meester Showroom Blogger Event, (featured on mylifetime.com and redbookmag.com), Good Housekeeping’s 125th Anniversary Red Carpet (also featured on mylifetime.com), Fashion’s Night Out, Fashion Week and event coverage for the nonprofit organization Project Explorer.
